Limbo Timoris
A downloadable game for Windows
Sent to exorcise an apparition, you find yourself trapped at the suspected site with a demonic flesh-being chasing you. It hates being perceived and can't handle the light, but your resources are limited. Repair your flashlight to exorcise the demon before it catches up to you in time...
Created in 2 weeks for the Secret Santa Game Jam! Each dev got a list of 5 things written by another dev, and we had to make a game that included those things (not all were required though). My list was from Spectrum which had:
- Everything is a resource! Some loose examples could be using a time limit as a currency, to disabling crucial UI to become more powerful.
- A button or input that does something silly (I failed to get this one in)
- A groovy visual effect
- A spooky, intense or stressful atmosphere
- Something is perceiving you but hates to be perceived...
Thanks for playing :3

Thanks for playing! Was fun to watch you beat it ^_^
I can't get past the first level, I'm too bad at horror games :') But golly, the idea is very interesting, having to choose between map, light and weapons and only being able to use one at a time feels like an interesting way to have the player react on the fly. Is there any way to outrun or distract the monster, outside of using firecrackers? I tried to turn on the lamp when it was close, but it got me anyway...
Sorry about that! I might've made the game too difficult tbh XD
You can outrun the monster in level 1 by holding the sprint button down non-stop. It'll have to keep recharging, but you'll outrun him. However, going into those lil rooms will make him catch up to you pretty easily if you don't have your lantern out. A good strategy is to have a firecracker ready before going into a room, and keep your lantern out as much as possible to keep a good distance!
Thanks for playing tho Andrea! glad you liked the concept :3
I loved this little horror game a ton! Nice job on the monster sounds, I got shivers anytime they were near
thanks for playing! had a lot of fun mixing those sfx :D
i had so much fun!!! i constantly felt like i was cutting things too close when trying to deal with the monster and barely escaping
thanks for playing Skooka!
nice
This was a tricky one! Took me a good few tries on the second level to finally beat it. The firecracker mechanic was pretty freakin novel, great job!
Thanks Johnny!
